WHAT IS A SITTING FEE AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

A sitting fee is a non-refundable retainer that secures your spot on my calendar. This includes covering the cost for the following parts of your experience with French Press Photography:

• Your pre-consultation _____ (virtual meeting/coffee) 

• Professional hair and make-up artist on location

• Photoshoot

• professional edited images.

DO I GET ANY IMAGES WITH THE SITTING FEE?

No digital images are included in the sitting fee. I am a full service photographer which means I do all product ordering and delivering for you. At the reveal we will discuss what products would be best to print your images on, all of which will be on an a la carte or package list to be paid separately after your photoshoot (if an all inclusive collection is not selected). This allows you to have complete control of what kind of products would work best for you and your home, and I’ll be here to guide and help you pick the right choice if needed.

WHAT IS A IN-HOME GALLERY REVEAL?

Two weeks after your photo session, I will come to you and show you all the images from our time together, edited and naturally retouched. Afterward we will talk about all your favorites and choose what images you’d like and how to display them. I will have samples so you can see what you’re ordering and then place your custom order which takes 3-4 weeks.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY DIGITAL IMAGES?

Yes, you have the option to purchase your full gallery from your reveal. I also include digital copies of your print purchase order.. These are formatted to be viewed online and shared online with your friends and family.

HOW MUCH ARE PRINTS AND OTHER PRODUCTS?

Specific pricing vary from product to product and packages will all be discussed at our consultation together.

COULD’NT I JUST BUY THE DIGITALS AND MAKE PRINTS MYSELF FOR CHEAPER FROM A LOCAL PRINT STORE?

When ordering prints, it's not just the cost of the paper, but the art on it. Because of this each image of you is priceless. I highly encourage ordering prints from me and my professional lab as it ensures guaranteed quality and resolution will not be lost. As what typically happens when ordering from a local print shop. It’s less work for you, it’s cheaper and guarantees to last you years to come. Plus I offer some packages that offer media digital images anyway, so why not get the best of both worlds?

Digitals come with every print purchase. Full digital galleries are available for purchase as well. Prints are a timestamp in your life, when you pick up your prints, you own a little piece of your life history. More meaningful than digitals scrolled on a phone. There’s value in owning physical pieces of your life in a world where everything is a virtual monthly subscription.
